Sylvia Mae's baptism

Today was a special day for our family.  Sylvia Mae was baptized.  This was a day that we've looked forward to since we found out we were having a baby.  

It was a really perfect day.  The sun was shining today, and Sylvia was surrounded by so much family.  

Both sets of grandparents, her uncle Lenny, Aunt Sissy, Uncle Ryan, Aunt Kate, Uncle Zack, Uncle Matt, Aunt Cory, Aunt Jeni, and Uncle Brian were all here.  Cousins, Claire, Will, Ben and Clare celebrated with Sylvia as well.  

Pastor Jeff baptized Sylvia at Samammish Presbyterian Church at the 10:45 service. 

It was so special to stand up and promise to raise Sylvia to love Jesus and teach her what it looks like to live a Christian life. Sylvia's church family is so special, and we are so fortunate that she will get to grow up in this church.  We hope years from now Sylvia will get to stand up choose Jesus on her own.  

The passage we chose for Sylvia today was Mathew 5:16.  

Sylvia recieved such loving cards and special gifts to remember this day.
